Bookings
Provisional bookings will be held for seven days. On receipt of a 25% deposit and a completed
booking form an acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to the person making the reservation.
The balance of payment is due 30 days before the commencement of the charter.
Cancellations
If through circumstances beyond our control it becomes necessary to cancel the charter we will
offer alternative dates or refund all payments, but no further liability is accepted.
The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made under any other circumstances.
If the client cancels the charter within 30 days of the commencement date then the full fee will
be payable unless a substitute booking can be found, in which case 50% of the full fee is returnable.
Insurance
Xanadu Charters holds third party insurance cover for skippered charters beyond which no liability for
accidents, death, injury or loss or damage to personal belongings is accepted.
Charterers are advised to take out their own personal accident and holiday cancellation insurance.
Participation in activities aboard the yacht will be at your own risk and the skipper will not
accept responsibility for death, injury or for damage or loss of property.
After departure
The itinerary will be subject to the weather conditions and the charterers must accept the skipper's
final decision with regard to safety and the operation of Xanadu. The skipper does not accept liability
if the itinerary is changed due to the weather or for any cause beyond his control.
These terms and conditions apply to all members of the party and the person who signs the booking form
accepts them on behalf of all other members.
